Queerly Kiwi Pink Trolley is a personal project by Bex. It helps you search a grocery list on Woolworths NZ and Pak n Save.

Your grocery list

The extension processes the text you enter in its side panel. Your list, selected item, and selected store are held in memory only. The extension does not save them to browser storage or send them to the developer. They are lost when the panel page closes or reloads.

When you start a search, move with Previous or Next, or click a list item, the selected item's text is included in the selected supermarket's search URL. That supermarket receives the search as part of normal website navigation. Search URLs may appear in your browser history. The supermarket's own privacy practices apply to your use of its website.

Browser access

The extension uses Chrome's side-panel permission to show its interface. Host access is limited to www.woolworths.co.nz and www.paknsave.co.nz over HTTPS so it can find and reuse store tabs. It uses matching tab identifiers and window identifiers to open searches and focus the store. It does not read page contents, logins, payment details, or trolley contents.

Analytics, external links, and contact

The extension contains no analytics, advertising trackers, remote executable code, or developer-operated data endpoint. The developer does not receive your list or browsing activity from the extension.

The user guide includes an optional Ko-fi link. Opening it visits Ko-fi, whose own privacy practices apply. If you choose to email Bex, the developer receives your email address and the information you include so they can respond. Do not send passwords or payment details.

Limited use

Queerly Kiwi Pink Trolley's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Extension data is used only to provide the grocery-list and supermarket-search features. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.

This website

This privacy page is hosted on GitHub Pages. It includes no analytics scripts, external fonts, or tracking cookies. GitHub may process visitor information, including IP addresses, to operate and secure its hosting service. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
